We are casting two Western actors for the short film "Ghost Box" (Gwisintong), selected for the 2026 Mid-form Content Production Support Program. This is a 20-minute period drama based on a true story, shooting on location in the Daegu–Gyeongbuk region in October 2026. [ About the Film ] - Title: Ghost Box (Korean title: 귀신통 / Subtitle: 1900, Samunjin) - Format & Genre: Period short film based on a true story / Mystery human drama - Running time: 20 minutes - Setting: March 1900 — from Samunjin Ferry Landing in Daegu to the Yangnyeongsi medicine market district - Distribution: Korea Creative Content Agency, regional cultural venue screenings, Korean short film festival submissions [ Logline ] March 1900. A black crate larger than a coffin arrives in Daegu by way of the Nakdong River. Old men bow to it, women throw salt at it, and the porters run away. A strange sound cries from inside. A porter named Mr. Go carries this "ghost box" on his shoulders for three days and nights to a missionary's house in Yangnyeongsi. On the final morning, of all people, it is Mr. Go's eight-year-old daughter Kkotbuni who comes face to face with what is inside. [ Role ① — Sidebotham (Lead) ] - Gender / Age range: Male / Late 20s to 30s (character age) - Requirement: Western actor. Based on a real historical figure. - Size of role: Lead.
